IIGCE 2014

The Indonesia International Geothermal Convention & Exhibition (IIGCE) 2014 will take place in Balai Sidang Jakarta Convention Center on 4-6 June, 2014. This 2nd IIGCE in the region will be officially opened by President of the Republic of Indonesia, HE. Dr. Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, and the Minister of Energy & Mineral Resources, Ir. Jero Wacik, SE.

The official theme for 2014 is “Enhancing Geothermal Development to Meet Energy Demands through Policy Breakthrough”. The IIGCE consists of plenary sessions, technical paper presentations and scientific exchanges among the experts and engineers. There are plenary sessions that will focus on the country’s effort to secure future energy supply by enhancing the development of geothermal energy, and government’s initiatives to de-bottleneck any hurdles in policies and regulations. Participants will be able to network with colleagues and potential business partners who are expected to come from around the world.
